Vi was a vibrant, independent presence at Manhattan Plaza, on 46th Street and at St. Clement's. From her days as a Vaudeville performer, Vi was a joyful presence as a singer and dancer, a gift she shared with everyone around her. Vi sang at her 90th birthday - a rendition of "What a Wonderful World" that brought tears and smils, and performed with dance groups well into her 90s. For many years, in addition to serving St. Clement's in so many ways, she reveled in her role as the Manger Cat in the annual Christmas Pageant.
A memorial Sevice for Vi will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015.
